Will Kog have Bob iger Stand-in?
Okay so I was rewatching Knights of Guinevere again and I noticed something. Gwen's thoughts seem to be in this princess font with pretty borders
And so is the rebooting screen, it even has the exact same border as her thinking hello.
Theory, what if Guinevere can willingly put herself in Work/"Fairytale" Mode? What if she has a small amount of control over how she sees the world and turned this design feature—most likely added to make her fairytale princessness more authentic—into a coping mechanism. Because she can see the world as it is. She sees things normally when in "stasis"
And when she's in working mode. Like when Olivia pulled her guts out.
But in that scene as Gwen's staring at her insides on the floor, before she starts to look up at Olivia and Orville her vision glitches. Now that could just be the pain causing her to go cross eyed but here me out. What if she was in Fairytale Mode and Olivia quite literally pulled her out of it and that's why her vision glitches? The pain ripped her out of her happy place.
She starts to panic when first coming back online, so she reboots and goes to her happy place.
The young blonde girl (who we now know is named Olivia Park w/ the release of voice actors) being at this premiere is very interesting to me. She also seems older here than in other shots - like she's taller here than in this shot where she is pulling her.
They are almost the same height at that premiere while in that time she was half her size. I am so excited to learn more about the plot & timeline. Just gotta wait three more weeks 😭
In celebration of Knights of Guinevere getting greenlit, here’s more thoughts and theories!! (Both based on the pilot and the greenlight teaser):
One thing that’s been on my mind is that: maybe this next episode will include more from Andi’s perspective. Most of the pilot episode is from Frankie’s point of view, and I feel like Andi has a very important perspective to this story, especially with meeting the Gwendriod at the beginning. I saw a lot of people talking about how Frankie’s memories are probably influenced by her delusions (forgive me I’m not 100% sure what they are), but what did Andi see? What does SHE remember?
Cuz, if the greenlight announcement showed us anything, we might get another flashback section, focusing on Andi.
I also feel like we didn’t get to see a lot of her personality outside of the stressors of work. She seems like a generally goofy, silly person burdened by work and outside stressors.
It looks like SHE was the one to suggest playing the crane game too. Plus, i remember in the secret concept art in that one mini game? On the website? That Andi loves horror movies and historical dramas.
Another theory I have is that: I don’t believe she got fired, I believe she quit. Something happened when she was in that room, that was the last straw with her job.
Finally, there’s GOTTA be a time jump…right? In the greenlight teaser it doesn’t look like Frankie has her black eye anymore. As for Andi’s broken arm…after rewatching the announcement video I can’t see a good shot of it….but I do know that the original teaser had a scene that was like a direct continuation from the final scene of the pilot.
Anywayssss that’s all I have! I am so so excited for this show!!
They use rock paper in Knights Of Guinevere
Look at the small text above the censored hand photo
There's also not a single plant or tree on sight in the whole pilot, iirc. There seems to be a total absence of flora. Which not only explains the use of alternative materials for making paper, but also makes the issue with the huge levels of pollution even worse.
What if Grey hair is a symptom of blue lung? because all the people who we see that are confirmed or implied infected have grey or graying hair (that could just be that they are older individuals) plus due to the portrait olivia is implied to have went grey very early on and we see that she has constant contact with one of the vectors for infection being the blue stuff in guine along with the fact that when we see her again she has the blue blood being flown through her veins and franky's boss also has grey hair and is more than likely infected with blue lung the guy who both spat coughed on andi had greying hair and also was heavily infected with blue lung
My dumbass is just now realizing that in Knights of Guinevere the reason why Olivia hasn't been shown to have a mom is because of how a lot of Disney protagonist don't have moms.
Flash theory I had while rewatching the pilot
We all know those theories circling around about Guinevere being either Olivia's mother and or designed to look like her mother right?
And that's the reason why old lady Olivia is desperate to get Gwen back.
Good
But i never really see theories as of yet about what actually might have caused the mother's death itself
Cause Orville was really on the nose about making it up to Olivia and urging her to forgetting her "past"
What really got on the rewatch was how he says "your here now", which yeah that could just be him comforting his daughter probably
But to me this implies that whatever even happened to Olivia that may relate to her mother's death was so horrific that she had nightmares or bounts of confusion where she thought she was reliving that trauma again.
Which to me points out that the mother likely didn't die of natural causes that I've seen small amounts of people say that's what might have killed the mom.
Instead my theory is that I think the mom died due to some freak accident that mangled her, specifically her face, so bad and it happened in front of Olivia.
Cause like I noticed how in the family portrait
The mom's face specifically is erased and when I got a closer look at it
Doesn't it look like the mom is kind of beheaded in a way?
And idk what else to say cause like this was just a flash detail I saw while rewatching the pilot
Thoughts?
