Dogs, somehow, didn’t scare him as much as cats did. Unlike cats, dogs are usually more energetic-- but the thing is, more often than cats, they are much friendlier and least likely to claw his eyes out. Some dogs still frighten him-- especially the ones who barked all the time.
So running into his senpai and his senpai’s dog did startle him, but luckily for Shinobu this is one of the times where the dog is more friendly than hostile. He’s interacted with Koga a little, Ryuseitai having quite some events in conjunction with UNDEAD and the instances he has witnessed the light music club practice. He isn’t as intimidated by Koga as he used to be, but that doesn’t mean he knows how to start a conversation with him.
Awkwardly holding his shuriken in his hand, he bows to Koga and his dog and attempts to mutter a somewhat coherent greeting. “Good afternoon, Oogami-dono!” That should be a sufficient greeting, right? Should he deck his head and keep on walking? His acknowledgement should be good, but... his eyes wander toward the dog’s fluffiness.
