--     USUALLY   her facial expressions are so controlled.    seldom does she allow others to see how she feels behind the mask,  beneath  the carefully carved out facade.  her mind wanders as ino speaks and suddenly,  she can’t help but think about the battlefield – as she so often does.   how many lives were lost.   how families were affected.   war still weighs heavy on her mind and she’s not even realized that her expression has fallen, nor has she realized how she must be looking at ino until the blonde speaks up.  embarrassed,  tenten heaves a sigh and averts her gaze.  ❝  mmm… sorry.  i didn’t even realize. must’ve stayed up too late last night. ❞
