MEET KOBOLD AND ATERIS!
G'day! I'm Kobold/Koh and I play Ateris!
I'm a genderfluid, 30 something, queer, neurospicy, disabled streamer and v-tuber from Aus!
Any/all pronouns welcome just please no female honorifics (mrs, miss, ma'am etc)
I mostly do art and gaming but occasionally do true crime streams, copilot streams and D&D streams. You can find me and my stuff HERE
Ateris is a tough nut to crack. A war vet who completely rescinded her paladinship and god leading her to have to start anew. She's looking for her son Hallis who went missing just after she was caught in the Descent of Elturel and in the time since her return from the hells, has been living with her closest friend (and situationship/unofficial husband) Dr Alligan Hue.
my biggest artistic goal is to write yaoi that reaches the level of devotion and also insanity that kurofai has
i need more novels about queer adults reckoning with their guilt of being a shitty teenager in the late 1900s/early 2000s and if i dont get them i WILL create them
the thing is, mid-season MahiKano was so strong, loving and sincere, but by the end, because of how poorly their conflict was resolved, it didn't end up feeling that meaningful to me. alas, to fall so low from "let me be the reason you sing" to feeling like Kiui and Mei are somewhat closer to Kano than Mahiru is. (Mahiru's vibes pre-sundolls show were bizzarre in general. what are you doing my love)
also i dislike everything about how Mei was written but that's been my beef with the show throughout, not only with the ending. a red flag you could call it, but even seeing them fumble Mei's relationship with the rest of the girls I didn't think they'd fumble the core Mahiru&Kano relationship so badly. i still have much to learn about my faith in media it seems
i don't want to write an essay on it but man the yorukura ending (the last 3-4 eps in general but the ending especially) was soo disappointing, the show really just took a turn after mahiru/kano fight and i do not care for this turn. the writers really said let's center the show around how these 4 girls create and inspire each other but then added a bunch of random characters that also apparently had to have conclusions and take up screentime. the way they dealt with Kano's mom and especially Kano's relationship with her was just wild. also ep 12 just felt... poorly made? like the amount of still shots or characters sitting and not moving much while talking was huge, it felt like they ran out of money at the end. idk ill have to collect my thoughts but tl;dr go watch girls band cry a superior anime girls band show of 2024
relistening to naddpod and crick saga bev being like "you know if i could have two gods id definitely pick yours as my number two haha" oh baby boy. oh my sweet darling 💀💀
it could have been worse though, they could have waited 3 months to release the last episode and then do a recap of the entire season in the first half and have jelee decide to never speak to each other ever again in the second half
