"I told you to stop doing others' paperwork, Koi." Brimstone sighed with displeasure, shaking his head. Koi nervously caressed her neck, chuckling as the Valorant Leader gave her an unamused face.

"It wasn't m-"

"You drew Yoru all around the papers."

"... Oops..." Koi sank her head, placing her hands in front of her.

"I am not angry, Koi. But stop doing others' paperwork. I'll have to have another talk with Phoenix, it seems." Brimstone sighed again. This was the 324th time Phoenix got called into his room this month alone. Koi was dismissed but, he told her to send Phoenix in if she ever saw him.

She had just gotten out of Brimtone's office when she noticed Reyna. Everyone had paperwork to do and, Koi wanted to help. Well, she didn't have to go and ask because Reyna had already approached her.

"Koi, sweetie. Do this for me, will you? Thanks." And Reyna immediately left as soon as she gave the papers to Koi. Left alone with more work to do, she could only sigh. But her sadness didn't last long. Reyna was her friend and, she needed help.

"Looks like it's back to work time..."

Now in her room, she was finishing up the paperwork for Reyna. There wasn't much work. It ended in a few minutes. At least the thought of her friend enjoying her time without stress over these papers made her happy. Standing up to leave, she collected the papers and went to find Reyna again. This time, she made sure to not have drawn on the papers. Hopefully, it was Reyna enough to convince Brimstone.

While passing through the empty cafeteria, she felt a cold hand gently touch her shoulder. With a small surprise from the cold, Koi gasped. Still shaken, Koi turned around and glimpsed up at the taller woman.

"...Koi." Cub coldly called out to her, gently taking her hand from her shoulder and taking a step back to give her more space.

"Cub! Hello! You rarely talk to me... Or anyone... What's up?" She merrily asked. But it turned to a discontented smile when she noticed the paperwork in Cub's hand.

"Do you want me to do them for you? I won't mind!"

"...you should."

That was not the answer she anticipated from her. She also wanted her to stand up for herself, huh? Or did she want her to do them? Cub held the papers to her chest though not towards Koi.

"... Chamber gone. Mission..."

"That's right, you always asked help from him! I can help but, I need to give these to Reyna first, alright?"

Cub looked around for a second before giving her a gentle nod. "... Je serai dans le salon..." She couldn't translate it on her mind, just hoped Koi could.

"Salon? Oh, the lounge room! Sure, see ya there!" She waved goodbye to her before sprinting off to find Reyna.

She was with Yoru, Phoenix and Ulti. Koi greeted everyone with a wave.

"Brim wants to talk to you, Phoenix! It's about the papers."

"Maaaannnnnnnnnnnnnn..." he groaned, dropping his gun and leaving to see Brimstone.

Koi approached Reyna and handed the papers to her. She, Yoru and Phoenix were practising their aim. Mostly showing off to Ulti who was cheering them on.

"Thank you, dear" Reyna gave Koi's head a little pat before pacing to hand the papers to Brimstone. Koi loved it when Reyna was happy. She loved it when all of her friends were happy.

"You gotta stop doing their stuff, Koi..." Ulti told her, placing an arm on her shoulder. Honestly, he'd be the same if it weren't for the fact he rarely left his room.

"I know I know but, they are my friends."

"The twerp is right for the first time. You have to stop." Yoru lifted his free hand to pet Ulti's messy hair. He flinched but relaxed when his hand touched his hair.

"Wanna join us?" Yoru asked, holding his gun by the muzzle to hand it to her. Koi was going to accept it when she remembered about her promise. "Later, Yoru! Tall lady is waiting for me!" She waved them goodbye before running to the Lounge room to help out Cub.

"Sorry, I'm late!"

Cub gently lifted her head from the papers and looked at Koi. With a motion, Cub waved at her slowly. Koi quickly pulled a chair and took a seat next to her.

"...Pas de soucis..."

"So what do you need help with? " Koi asked.

Cub took a breath in and pointed at a line.

"... Can not... Erhm..." And placed a curled finger on her lip, thinking. "... Traduire les phrases?"

Koi smiled brightly. "Oh! I see the problem now! But I'm not sure if I can translate it to French..." Nervously, she chuckled, rubbing the back of her neck. "I can speak it, but just a little..."

Cub held a hand out, gesturing her to take it easy. "pas de soucis. Just... Explain..."

Not sure how but Koi never realized Cub was left-handed. Not that it matters. She was here to help, not judge someone for something they can't change!

Thanks to Koi's help with the translation, Cub was able to finish the papers in almost no time. Cub wasn't great at small talk and often stayed quiet but, Koi was still glad she could help without Brimstone getting angry at her. Cub had cursive writing and wrote her dotted letters with little hearts. They even walked together to Brimstone's office to leave the papers there. Cub thanked her in French and walked off. Despite this positive interaction, Koi still wondered. Was she on her good side now? The little gift box in her locker was the proof she was.
