“Miwa, I’ve told you multiple times, didn’t I? If you think you’re incapable of handling high-level curses, it’s better to retreat—rather, you should call for help from your mission partner. Me.” He scolds while gently patching up her gash on the arm.
She sighs. “I know, ‘kichi, it’s just- you always seem to be doing all of the work. I find it unfair, y’know? Leaving the heavy, dirty work to you. I just wanted to help.”
“And I really appreciate you for that. However, you would be doing me a much greater favor if you just kept yourself safe. Trust me, it feels rewarding when I know that you’ll come home without a single scratch.”
“Are you… calling me weak? I- don’t get me wrong! I know I’m weak but-”
Kokichi lightly chuckles in response. The sight of his face wrinkling with humor is undeniably making Miwa flush.
“Hah… I didn’t say that. I admire your fighting spirit, I really do. But what I'm implying here is you should be more aware of your capabilities, you can’t just keep on risking yourself like this.”
“Hmm, you didn’t deny it. So you think I am weak huh?”
“Anddd now you’re just messing with me…”
“Hehe, can’t help it! You look funny when you get nervous about what to say. Don’t worry, ‘kichi. I know I’m not strong, but I’m really trying my best to keep up with ‘ya!”
As usual, Kokichi delicately smiles at her uplifting demeanor. She never fails to make him feel at ease.
“Time's up, Miwa.”
“Ughhh, no wa-”
Kokichi does it anyway.
He firmly wraps the bandage around her arm and seals it tight.
“Ow- Hey! You didn’t even let me count to three! You know I hate that part…”
“Yes, I’m sorry, but it would make the job easier, you know? Faster too. Plus it’s done now. I saved myself from your theatrics.”
“Rude. You owe me a movie night.”
“I see. I just did you a favor and in return… I do you… another favor?”

He asks for her preferences anyway.
“Fine. Rom-com or Sci-Fi?”
“Wellll… we just finished Only You, soooo”
“Got it, Sci-Fi it is. How does WALL-E sound?”

Honestly that Little Domain didn't seem like much when I first saw it during the fight between Maki and Miwa, but used this way is really cool and useful!! ✨
How cute is it that he included Arata in his mental picture of the people he wanted to meet? 🥹
Side note, but I've realised now that Pseudo-Geto refers to Gojo calling him "Satoru Gojo". Strong indication that this was not actually Geto planted before the big reveal... I can't recall if there are other instances where he does this, and maybe talking about Satoru with others would excuse him calling him like that I guess, but here he is thinking, sooooooooooooo... I wonder how many readers noticed this at the time!!
Brief moment to ponder and theorise if his classmates would accept him or not after he put them at risk and aided the bad guys. I get that his intentions were both selfish and good, and I can't help but sympathise with him... I just think that merrily join everyone after betraying them is kind of a childish dream, he surely would face serious consequences and be subject to a trial at the very least? 🤔 I mean, him calling Gojo and snitching everything to him seems feasible because Satoru would most likely concentrate his efforts into thwarting their plan, but I can't decide if he would side with the kid after that or not... He's not even his student, I think that matters a bit... *Mumble mumble

And also Mahito shrugging this off like "all according to the plan", but Pseudo-Geto seemed to think that Kokichi had a chance to actually kill him. He almost got his ass handed to him, I'm can't wait to see who's next in line to finish the job 😈
