Why does everyone hate on country music?
I like some country songs, but I’m not a big fan of country music generally and I don’t feel like Neil would be a big fan of it either. (But obviously that’s just my headcanon.)
To me, it seems to be way easier to find local country stations while driving in unfamiliar areas than other stations, so I imagine Neil would end up listening to a lot of country songs on the run and listening to the same country songs all the time and having the stations staticky would not help with enjoying the songs. Plus, music that played while he was trying to sleep in the car probably wasn’t his favourite. I know I can’t listen to a song that used to be on the radio every morning when my alarm would go off.
