I went to Japan and bought: two hobby brushes in a toys store. Three calibrating calligraphy brushes in a stationary store (imagine effing high end stationary!): cat, weasel, and kolinski. They were the smallest calligraphy brushes in the store. They're supposed to be used for kana, sutras, and, well, kolinski is kolinski, even in Japan. Spelled: korinski (コリンスキ).
