OC intimacy challenge, theme 1 'Initiative'

- What are you grumbling about, Lar-Ve?

- The last scene in the novel, it doesn't turn out good enough.

- You should write with more interest. It's not one of your kid's book. Use more sensual phrasing, passion...it must be tempting.

- Excuse me, what do you mean?

- Let me show you an example. Here it goes... Ha-ha I caught you!

- Mhmmm...wait, comrade, you gonna break my arm!

- No, if you do it right under my guidance..it won't hurt.

As Alberto Grew up, he realised that he didn’t want to live in the village anymore. So one day he took the painting of lord Daring from his parents bedroom and sold it secretly to buy himself a one-way ticket to the city of Slytown.

Him mom was angry, his dad was not, he didn’t like the picture anyway. Father gave Alb his own old coat, as it was the only valuable thing left in their house, and kicked his son out towards the new life.

Alberto went to Slytown. Nobody wanted to give him work or house because of his weird looks, so he had to live on the street.

One day there was a festival in the town. Free cookies were given to everyone and the music was playing for the march of the lord’s army guards. The lord himself was there too but the crowd didn’t let Alberto to come closer.

Alb noticed a fancy dressed man wearing military uniform, he seemed nice, so the boy got the courage to speak to him. “Hey mister, What’s going on here? Are you from the lord’s army?” - he asked excited. “That’s an annual parade, boy. See the uniform?” - said soldier and pointed on the golden fox medal shining on his coat. “Lieutenant Antonio Portwine, at your service!” - he added and saluted with a grin.

“Wait, don’t go!” - Alb tryed to catch up as the parade went on, - “Take me with you, I want to become a lord’s guardian too!” Antonio chuckled looking on Alb with pity.  “Alright, but you have to pass the exam and pay the entry fee. If you got money, which I doubt.” “But I can learn! Mom said I’m talented” - said Alb desperately. “Being pretty is a talent, yeah, but the school doesn’t take it as a payment” - said Antonio with a wink and got lost in the crowd.

Alberto Croc Story Pt.1

Croc family lived in a small village. Little Alberto grew up very energetic, always asking lots of questions like: “Why is the sky blue?” “Why do I have to eat my vegetables?” “Why don’t I look like my mom and dad? Nobody else in our family have got white hair!” “When you were born, an Ice Fairy kissed you, that’s why,” - said his mother patting his head. “Mom, seriously! I know how the kids are made!” - Alb didn’t believe the Fairy Theory. “Well, you are just albino. This can happen to anyone” - answered mom. “Is our lord Salmon the Daring albino too?” - asked Alb, looking at the old painting on the wall, picturing the lord of their land in his youth. “No, dear. His whole family is like this. I saw them close when I was working in the castle,” - said mom and smiled, as if remembering something. “Then I must be one of his family!” - Alb says. “Don’t talk rubbish or I’ll hit you with a book” - says mom and picks a heavy one. Alberto hides under the table in panic. “But don’t you think the lord is pretty?” - he asked, still using the table as his fortress. “Yes, he is handsome. But don’t tell dad I said then though.” - says mrs. Croc and sighs. “So he is the ruler of the land because of his beauty?” - asks Alb. “No, dumb boy, He can do magic and he protects us. That’s why all obey him.” “Well, if he is magical, why not I am too?” - he asks, making mom angry. “Your curiosity may play a bad joke on you boy!”

Alb kept silent, but at that moment he surely decided, that one day he is going to meet the lord personally and ask all the questions himself.
