Story time:

I was digging around in some old doodles and I found this bad boy (well, bad boys) and I thought I should contribute this to the #SepticArt event as well, not because I wanted to bring attention to either of these Anti OCs, but because it was thanks to the community surrounding them that really made me feel welcome here, and that means a lot to me.

And I hope you guys don’t take this lightly, but I remember when I first found Jack on tumblr (2 years ago), I was beyond amazed at the amount of people engrossed on the concept of Antisepticeye. Literally THOUSANDS of people were fascinated about a non-existing alter ego to the point that everyone had their own version of said alter ego. An entire community focused on the creation and acceptance of different versions of the same identity, nothing blew my mind more than that ever could.

Of course, at the center of all that was Jack himself. I figured that it must’ve been so weird to have so many people invested in the concept of a fictional alter ego, but my GOD was he accepting as FUCK.

And that brings me to Goop (tall Anti OC on the left). He belongs to @konoira (who I miss very much ; u ; ) and was the first Anti OC I found, and that lead to SO many more OCs AND amazing artists that I couldn’t have possibly imagined were just right there. Needless to say, I was inspired by the entire community (but yeah, Kon was the main insp.), and Yellow (floaty OC on the right) was born.

Becoming part of a new fandom/community was something I was really nervous about, considering that I’ve mainly stuck to one for the past few years now, but the response to Yellow blew my fucking mind. Of course I have to thank Jack for somehow finding it and deciding to “like” it for whatever mysterious criteria his “likes” have, because you guys found him in turn and everyone was just-.. You guys-.. the LOVE-..ASFKLAJSKLJSDFLKMLSDKL

TL;DR: This community is fucking amazing.

I do not claim the artwork on the right. It originally belongs to Konoira on YouTube. I can claim the sketch of it though I still credit the wonderful artist who made it. I would not be able to draw as well as them but I'm slowly working my way up after four or five years of my drawing life.
