Milkshakes are on me (or Batman, really).
Kara excitedly flipped her phone shut and shoved it into the back pocket of her jeans, before dancing around the room. Sara looked up from her magazine and quirked a brow.
"Hot date?" she asked, tossing it aside for more real and favourable gossip.
"Not really. I'm going to hang out with my...cousin. Conner." Kara danced her way around piles of their clothes and shoes, looking for her wallet and makeup bag. "Sara, really, we need to get around to cleaning this mess up. It'sridiculous." She finally found both in opposite corners of the small room, one peaking out of the pocket of a pair of shorts and the other in an open box of pizza from the night before.
"You're cousin? You're this excited to see your cousin?" Sara climbed over a pile of pants and snatched the makeup bag, pulling out the eyeliner and scrutinising it with a practised eye. "This shade is better than that other stuff. Punk glam princess is my thing. Is he a hot cousin, come on SG you gotta share the hot boys with your bestest gal pal!"
Shaking her head and taking the pencil, Kara applied the makeup using the mirror on the back of the closed closet door. "Well, I mean, he's got good genes. I guess he's hot. But I can't bring you along this time, strictly me and Conner and milkshakes and something covered in bacon." Snatching the wallet, she floated towards the opened window. "Tell Jacky I'll be back later, and I'll bring home a pizza or something. We have to finish watching Titanic." With that she was gone, on her way to the milkshake and burger dive she told Kon to meet her at.
