Now the embargo is over I can tell you about a well known visitor to our studio....
THE EMBARGO HAS BEEN LIFTED!!!! So this HUGE thing that happened Friday night ….. You want to know what it was? Oh okay then. International music mega star, one of the wealthiest & most powerful men in music ‘Jay-Z’ flew into Luton & recorded at our KoolWorld studio on Friday night. Long story about how it all came to pass, suffice to say his ‘people’ at Def Jam called at 6pm (as Fiona was leaving who wouldn’t normally be there & wouldn’t usually answer the phone that late anyway) basically saying they *had* to use our studio for Jay-Z to record in as he was flying in at 1am! Regardless of whether you like him, his music or not, there is no denying he’s one of the most powerful people in the industry & he’s just recorded in our humble little studio in Luton!
