If Dal were to try every Mario Power-up in existence, which would be his most used and favorite?

Bonus: What would be Dal's least favorite power-up and most disappointing?

His all-time favorite Power-Up is, hands down, the Ice Flower. In terms of aesthetics, he's more inclined to ice/water/cooler colors, and when he's actually got a flower on him, he loves ice skating everywhere like it's a certain episode of Tom & Jerry. In fact, if he's alone, he'll start to sing "Once Upon a Dream"! ^w^

Least favorite, believe it or not, would actually be a Power Star. Purely because he... well, he can't handle it.

It's unclear whether it's because he's just not used to one or he'll literally never master it, but either way just touching one turns him into the equivalent of fifteen kids on sugar highs and he starts running around like crazy, and when he finally crashes, he's out cold for hours. Do not give this guy a Power Star. Not without proper surveillance. Please.

If Koopa Dalex used a fire flower would his fire be green? :o

I mean his default fire breath (which I may or may not scrap entirely) is already green, so there's that. XD

Regardless, Koopa!Dal attempting to use a fire flower would be a horrible idea.

In my 'verse, Dragon Koopas (along with any other naturally fire-breathing creature) cannot and must never use fire flowers as a Power-Up, as this will kick their flame pipes into overdrive.

This condition, dubbed "Overheat," is a very painful experience, as the victim's flames now run even hotter than what they're used to, and they can't stop spewing fire, no matter how badly they want to. It could best be described as "being dumb or crazy enough to try and drink a glass of lava."

You know that mission in Sunshine where you gotta cool down those feverish Chain Chomplets? It's basically that, adding actual fire breath and minus the weird flaming goop.

The only ways to stop an Overheat are to either A.) Find a large amount of water/snow/ice/etc. to cool the flames back down as quickly as possible, or B.) Let the victim's flame pipe burn out. The latter of which will leave the flame pipe too damaged to ever be used again, and will have to be removed to prevent future problems within the body.

Thankfully, just touching a fire flower won't trigger an Overheat; you'd have to be foolish enough to actually try to activate the power-up or eat the flower on its own. When used in meals, power-ups are distilled so their abilities can't kick in, so you're also safe there. owo)b

So, about Koopa!Dal, would he be considered poisonous, venomous, or neither? :o

Since Dalex can poison people through biting, he's venomous.

I associate Poison Koopas with venomous snakes, so the time it would take for their venom to kill someone (or since we're in Mario, they'd simply faint or get KO'd) is... oh, let's be nice and say it takes about half an hour, with the time logically decreasing if more venom is injected.

Like they are with other poisonous things, Poison Koopas are not affected by each other's venom... if they're purebreds.

Let's take Luka and Violet for example. If Luka bit his mother or Violet spat at her son (she has no fangs, so she spits her venom instead), neither would be hurt by it. Aside from Vi being annoyed that she'd been bitten, of course.

Since Dalex is a hybrid, however, there are a few downsides. Not only is his venom weaker, meaning it would take even longer to have any effect, but he's also vulnerable to his own kind's venom. If, say, his father bit him and there was no antivenom or poison-curing item in sight, Dal would be screwed.

Luckily for everyone involved, Luka would never bite his child under any circumstances. Nor would Vi spit at her own family. ^w^

Dallie ain’t that bold, anon. (and by extension, neither is Dalex)

The closest thing to that kind of attire you’d ever see Dallie wear is… well, this.

If anything, she’d be stuck worrying that she might be under/overdressed for whatever event warrants dressing up real nice XD
