With the popularity of sensory / fidget toys I'm surprised Koosh Balls aren't more popular. Just googled them and found out Basic Fun is bringing them back, they are really hitting all the classic toys!

Koosh balls were a lot of fun to play with and remind me of the simple days of the 90′s.

Kooshes are kind of coming back. They might not be in schools because a challenge to sanitize. I remember being a tot in the early 90s and having an actual phobia of them (did not trust how they moved and they smelled weird). I couldn't be in the same room where one was *known* to lurk, even if it was out of sight. I was diagnosed with autism at 12 and I look back and go "Oh that explains a lot"
Ohhh interesting! They did smell weird and kind of moved like they were alive.
Great point about them being hard to sanitize!
Personally never knew that they ever took koosh balls away, honestly... they seemed so ubiquitous in an elementary school setting. unfortunately I also think they were frequently confiscated or restricted... they do feel really nice to just squish and squeeze and hold, tho... an ultimate sensory experience.
Oh yeah, totally possible they never went away but I noticed they aren't as ubiquitious as in the late 80s / early 90s
(I did a quick google to refresh my memory of when they were invented and discovered at the height of their popularity they made a Koosh comic book series, amazing)
