After meeting with Mina and discussing their strategies for the upcoming war, it was crucial for them to start forming alliances and gaining the trust of the vampires. More importantly, it was time for the crew of the Star Eater to start and find vampires that they could trust. If things ever went downhill for them, at least they could have some supernatural beings in their pocket. Particularly ones that held a noble status, such as Kora. It wasn’t his first run in with a vampire, but it was his first as a political mission which made him nervous. For the first time, Oakley was out of his zone of comfort. He had a disregard for rules which made him a great pirate, yet would make him out to be a poor politician. He just hoped the meeting would fare over well and that she could not sense his nervousness. When she arrived, he bowed, unsure of what to do in these situations. “Thank you for agreeing to meet with me,” he managed to say. “Captain Stoker sends her apologies for not being able to meet face to face.”
