I really love how all of Kord’s appearances reinforce that he’s not just the god of storms and battle, but also of camaraderie. It’s not enough to fight alone, but you must fight for your friends.

In Yasha’s case her grief and loneliness led her to Obann and falling from her grace by his manipulation, but it’s through the love of her friends that she overcame that.

What I especially like though is that it’s still hard. In this dream, even though she drew upon the strength of her friends, she still struggled and failed to break her chains. She’s still weighed down by her loss and guilt. But Kord told her to keep struggling, keep trying.
