Korealizations
#1: Koreans love bendy straws. #2: Korean napkins are virtually nonexistent or basically toilet paper. #3: Wifi is everywhere, but mostly accessible if you're a Korean citizen or have a Korean cell phone provider. #4: Finding that missing sock is easier than finding a trash can. #5: You need to go up a size (sometimes twice) in order to find the right Korean size in shirts. (I'm a medium/large here in Seoul...) #6: If you thought Starbucks was way too common in NYC, beware of coffee shops, GS25, and FamilyMart in Seoul. #7: Coffeeshop wifi is bombdiggity fast. #8: Desserts or coffee are more expensive than meals in Seoul... #9: If your tolerance doesn't improve in Seoul, it's a hopeless cause. #10: Pens and highlighters cost about ~$1-$2 each...
