행복했으면 좋겠어요: I hope you are happy
-었/-았/-했으면 좋겠다
It's used to express one's hope that things will go well in the future.
1. If the last syllable of a verb stem doesn't end with the vowels ㅏ or ㅗ, then -었으면 좋겠다 is attached to the verb stem. 예)
웃는 날만 있었으면 좋겠어요: I hope your days will be full of laughter rather than tears. 있다 → 있으면 좋겠어요
2. If the last syllable of a verb stem ends with the vowels ㅏ or ㅗ, then -았으면 좋겠다 is attached to the verb stem. 예)
행복하게 살았으면 좋겠어요: I hope you live a happy life. 살다 → 살았으면 좋겠어요
3. If a verb stem ends with -하 then you gotta change it to -했으면 좋겠다. 예)
행복했으면 좋겠어요 (I hope you are happy) 행복하다 → 행복했으면 좋겠어요.
안 했으면 좋겠다: I don't want (something).
