I stop making #newyearsresolutions a long time ago because I never end up keeping them. But I wonder if it was because I set wrong kinds of goals or they were all just too unrealistic goals. But I have do one resolution that I really want to work on this year. It is recognizing and savoring the journey of making an epic #graphicnovel and show myself just how much fun it can be. I still have a long way to go, but I’m beginning to see how much progress I’ve made so far and it gives me hope that the end is not too far. At the beginning of the Thre Kingdoms era, both men and women wore short, tight-fitting baji and waist-length jeogori. But towards the end of this period, women of higher class began wearing long chima and short jeogori. Almost all the traditional hanbok seen today are fashioned in the Joseon Dynasty, which began in the late 1300s, but the birth of the handbook dates back much earlier than that. Some researchers have found evidence of hanbok in murals within burial tombs dating back to the Goguryeo Era (37 BCE-668 CE) - over 1600 years ago! Other researchers can even trace hanbok styles through ancient Siberia and Mongolia.
