J.U.N.O Figure Kaossilator performance, no syncing involved. I am using two iPads running Figure by Propellerhead and an old KORG Kaossilator (KO-1) to make a very mellow slow paced spacey track!

A Closer Look At The Krome With Richard Formidoni
Korg may have a small hold in the DJ “toys” department with their renditions of the Kaoss Pad and Kaossilator, but this is only the tip of the Korg iceberg. Korg has had a rich history in making full size keyboards of all types. While they’ve developed their share synthesizers past and present, like the microSTATION – they’ve also kept up with traditional and contemporary music by creating and perfecting their workstation line of keyboards. Their line of Krome keyboards were designed to be all-in-one configurations that could handle everything from computerized production, to live acoustic performances. Unlike other keyboards, their instruments are created beyond the scope of traditional PCM- based instruments, and each piano instrument requires a whopping amount of disk space (up to 3gigs). Synthtopia typically helps introduce new products to the scene by letting consumers and musicians input their feedback – but this time, they’ve actually sat down with the Technology Product Manager of Korg, Richard Formidoni. In this short verbal interview they discuss the ins and outs of the Krome Workstation Keyboard, and how it can be used with other integrated software on the market. The Krome comes in three different key configurations at costs that range from $1600 and below. http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2012/12/07/a-closer-look-at-the-krome-with-richard-formidoni-korgs-technology-product-manager/
