Here’s my jam sessions I did yesterday! 🕺🏻 These were actually two separate synth jam sessions I did yesterday and I decided to combine them randomly to see how they sounded together and even though it doesn’t match up completely with the tempo, I think it sounds pretty cool! ✌️ It’s inspired me to try and sync them up with each other for my next session and try actually playing them together. I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m fairly new to these types of analog synths so everything takes longer for me when I’m tweaking it and trying to find sounds I like. It’s been a process which I’m sure anyone who has experience with analog synths understand this. Haha. I have much more experience with polyphonic workstation synths. So I’m still learning how to patch, etc. But this one was super fun and I finally feel like I’m truly starting to get the hang of it. Haha. I’m honestly in love with the way they both sound and wanted to share!✨🎛🎚✨

Last night, I got my Korg ARP2600 out & had so much fun playing around with it for hours! I seriously love this synth so much. I definitely feel like it’s on my top 3 of favorite synths. I love the fact that you never know what you’re going to get. The result is different every time 🎛️

So as a lot of you know, I’ve been sick lately. For those that don’t know, I’ve been dealing with a sinus/ upper respiratory infection from a bad case of Hay Fever that got out of control for a while. But I wanted to drop a little update & say that I’ve been doing a lot better for the past couple of days. I feel about 90% better. The wellness comes in waves & especially at night it hits me hard again sometimes. I still have a lot of congestion. But it’s gets so much better from where it was at thankfully! I’m still finishing my 2nd round of steroid & that kind of medication always sucks. Anyone who’s ever been on it knows that it can make a normal person feel like they’re going literally insane sometimes 😫 But yesterday I was able to go on a little shopping spree & bought some fun clothes for myself. I honestly just did it to cheer myself up & didn’t really expect to keep any of it after trying it on at home. But I’m kind of digging these country club vibes mixed & the Y2K styled sunglasses are actually pretty cool too. Lol. These photos are a result of me trying some of it on last night. Haha. P.S. Not wanting to be redundant by posting this selfies to my stories AND my feed. But I know stories only last for 24hrs & some of you don’t watch my stories. It’s Monday & I’m determined to try to get some more composing done today! I’m still slowly recovering from my Hay Fever induced sinus & upper respiratory infection. I feel about maybe 80% there. But I am getting there! I do feel a lot better from a few weeks ago thankfully! And I seriously appreciate everyone’s kind words, support & love throughout this time! It’s really meant so much to me 🙏❤️ When I’m sick I tend to dream of & long for the things I want to do & can’t do at the moment. And my saxophone is one of them right now. It keeps staring at me. It wants to be played. Lol. 😎🎷 Also I miss my peloton & skating & working out… but all this dreaming is fueling me to do my best to rest & get better so I can go full force when I do feel 100%! So I mentioned having a rough day yesterday & part of that rough day was going to the doctor only to unfortunately find out I’m going to have to be on more medicine to kick this sickness I have from my Hay Fever from Hell. It’s been an intense health journey. But I’m hoping this will be the final round of meds I’ll have to be on. Anyone who’s ever been on steroids knows it’s no walk in the park… especially for people with mental health issues 😓 It’s not fun at all… I’m definitely not excited about it. Today I’ll be starting my 9 day round of them & hopefully it will get rid of this sickness once & for all 💪 I’m still going to be working on my album (I gave a little special sneak peek of the song I’m working on in my IG stories, if you missed it, I just might post another sneak peek in there at some point or another.
