ok lets talk about how like shitty rachel's character is, like really?? we get all this b.s. about how her dad was all shitty and stuff, but people have WAY WORSE, like she didn't even get physically abused by him or anything, what a drama queen. and then they writers keep saying that she is totally pansexual but she has never been with anyone besides a cis-male, like how is that pansexual AT ALL??? i am just so disappoint that the writers made such a awful character, like WOW
WHOOOOOOA hey now. First of all we do not indulge char hate on this blog. And second, this is all false bc you’re going off the wrong bases.
You cant just say, well this person had it WAY WORSE and then that means that person doesn’t have it bad. Thats not how it works. Just bc someone has it worse doesnt mean its good for the other person, yknow? Just like how if someone has it better, it doesnt mean you cant also be happy. That’s not how it works. If someone's had tough times saying "well theyre just whiny because soandso..." is completely ignoring that not everyones the same! and we all have different struggles.
And second you need to believe someone when they say theyre queer or what kind of queer they are. Someones sexual orientation doesnt depend on other people, it depends on THEMSELVES. Whatever someone says they are,you cant pull up “proof” and say, no they’re really this. Because you cant “prove” what someone is one way or another because sexuality is fluid and labels dont work like that, theyre personal.
And basically youre wrong in all the ways. If you think that she’s like, whiny and lying or whatever then youre obviously not paying attention to her character, LIKE WHAT SHOW ARE YOU WATCHING??? The show is about how people and friends can pull through things, whether theyre small or big, and how everyone's feelings matters. Rachel i think ties into that PERFECTLY, because she’s a character who goes through shit and comes out on the other end still a strong, happy, and loving person. That is hard to do, and its something that I respect A LOT.
