Most of my negative emotions are often hostile but dull - irritation, disappointment, exhaustion, so I find it harder to channel them into this impenetrable motivation. If anger was a vibrant, vivid red colour I’d ideally be smearing the colour everywhere I go, leaving a noticeable, lasting trail behind me if I used anger productively. Instead with the dull emotions I have it’s like trying to scrape greys and browns on the walls around me but having them fade as soon as I step away ….16.
