I ran a poll on Twitter to see which of four random Pokemon I should draw and Kricketune won it so I drew it!... sorta.

I redesigned it to look a little more alien and to take some cues from 1930′s black and white creepy acid-trip cartoons hence the elongated and bouncy looking body. I always found Kricketune kinda off-putting even though I liked it a lot so I decided to lean into that feeling super hard.

Day 570 - Korotock | コロトック | Kricketune

Korotock is a mustachioed Pokémon, every single one. They turn white when they’re old and mastered their two crafts. Korotock protects forest shrines where Celebi appears. When Celebi rests, it plays a violin-like song with masterful skill, and fights off intruders with its swordsmanship.
