Okay upopulair opion! I liked the Korra comics better then the cartoon. Maybe because in the cartoon they kinda forced the whole Korra/Mako/Asami thing.. And I just don't see the attraction to Mako from those girls.....

Aand in the comics they could embrace the bi♡

not to sound like a #StraightAlly but truly even though i already know korra and asami get together in the future i am really enjoying their friendship and the platonic progression of their relationship. i love that asami doesn’t really know korra outside of mako but she wants to include her and make friends with her and she invites her to her house and her pool and she takes her car racing, and i love that korra is still in her sheltered mindset and lack of understanding of the world so she definitely holds a grudge against asami but she’s really impressed with her once she gets to know her she understands her perception of asami was biased and flawed and she tells her so and apologises, and i love that korra was so sympathetic with asami and the entire hiroshi situation instead of being like, smug or mean about it, and that she understands asami is going thru a hard time and she basically tells mako “hey..... don’t mess up now, she’s already been fucked over enough” and idk. despite the entire disaster that went down with mako and despite the knowledge that they do get together eventually i am just enjoying the ride.
