Yep still rly want a Zak fullsuit someday
Kongo drakes put heavy value on physical beauty; the more beautiful and eye-catching the markings or color patterns of a Kongo are, the more noticed in their group and likely to find a mate later on they'll be
Though this sadly means that individuals unlucky enough to be born with some rare color mutation that sometimes occurs in the species (albinism, piebald, or, God forbid, simply one solid color with no markings at all) are accepted begrudgingly by their parents and their groups as a whole and often are relentlessly taunted or pushed aside for most of their upbringing in favor of those "prettier" than them, even if they've got a lovely personality
As a result it's not uncommon to encounter Kongos with color mutations living alone, having grown tired of and uncomfortable around their "normal-looking" peers and their teasing
Kongo drakes actually do have a "formal" species name but it's become infrequently used to most everybody outside the draconian races to the point where people seldom even know it exists and so "Kongos" they remain most well-known as
(Since Kongos are known to be a rather vain race this actually kind of annoys them to some degree but their formal name is somewhat hard to pronounce for a lot of people so they put up with the "lack of education" of others)
