So.

They have a lot of lore, as Ei is Kristoph’s main rival.

However… they are very gay… like. Worse than Narumitsu canonly. But also so so SO in denial.

The two times that Kristoph first meets Ei, he calls him stunning.

But the thing is. They are two sides of the same coin. They are two severely traumatized people who deal with their emotions differently.. but also in the same way? They both mask but half of their relationship is trying to peel the other person’s mask off.

Kristoph is also a little pissy that Klavier decided to chooe HIM as a mentor. You know, his MAIN RIVAL???

BUT ALSO THEY HAVE MULTIPLE TIMES WHERE THEY ARE JUST GAY AS HELL???

Like oh yes, I’m totally platonic with this person I kissed air into after I watch them collapse from being POISONED.
