Koschei/Marya (Deathless RP)
She was returned from another campaign, another battle fordominion against Death’s country, and she was bone-weary. She could dress herself up, make herself that of a general, a warrior, an immortal, but at the end of the day, she was a girl, and she was tired.
It was true, there was a part of her that loved her reflection in Koschei’s eyes. She was powerful, resurgent, and like him, nearly Deathless, but neither of them could be this. For that sinister, oily voice always whispered in the back of her mind that ‘Death is coming for you all’, and no matter the number of campaigns or successful battles waged, Death was just around the corner.
But she would never voice this, would never give it strength or let it grow inside her head. Especially not to her would-be husband.
She strode into the hall he often inhibited, expecting to find him there, only it was empty. She frowned, walking towards the large table piled high with battle plans, an idle, white hand tracing her blood-encrusted brow. She was too distracted to think of whose blood maimed her face. She could only think on where Koschei could be.
