Also, how did he break his resurrecion and mask? Is that the reason why he can't use his cool dino powers? Is that why hollows now want to eat him? Because he leaks a bit of reiatsu?
If I remember correctly, when Nel had her mask broken, she started leaking reiatsu and became the little Nel and lost her memories and most powers. How is your OC different?
Also, does he remember his life as a human or did he forget like most hollows do? Is the reason he fears getting killed and going to hell because he did something bad (in the case he remembers his life)?
OR is he under the assumption all arrankar/hollows go to Hell? Did he just randomly see someone that was a murdered while alive get dragged to hell and decide to redeem himself or is it just some misconception among hollows that if a shinigami kills you, you go to hell?
You can definitely try. Not sure he would like it, he is trying very hard to fill this empty space ! I believe it could cause some kind of dysphoria ? He wouldn’t say it tho, just joking about how impolite it is to stick ur hand into someone’s hole. But he doesn’t want to be reminded of his lack of soul.
As for the resurrection mask and sword, the question wouldn’t be how he broke it but more how it impacted him !
And for that you are right I based it of what we saw when it happened to Nell ! Even if, since the process was voluntary on Kosumo’s case, he still has his memories from when he was a regular Arrancar.
Although, not his memories of his life, it was too long ago, and he don’t know what he did in his alive time,what he know is that he doesn’t really care about the fate of other peoples, he doesn’t feel strong emotions attaching him to other being, so he think, he could have done anything in his alive times, because the only thing right now stopping him from acting like a regular Arrancar again is logic, he thought about why he did what he was doing and how he would’ve acted if he was a human, or a Shinigami. That’s why he doesn’t want to be purified by a Zanpakuto, he doesn’t have any hope of escaping Hell and joining Soul Society, because he is not a good person, and he certainly did a lot of bad things.
Also yes i have this headcanon that every Hollow think they are going to hell or just disappear if a Shinigami get them, Kosumo just happen to be old enough, and he learned the truth century ago.
Cool doodles of Kosumo back in the Arrancar times :DD I’m still working on his Résurrection form ! The spine on his back is conveniently less pointy and long now that he lost lot of his power so he just have weird little jagged shapes on his back under his clothes.
Also the name of his Zanpakuto is the translated scientific name of the Spinosaurus, it means spiny lizard huhu. I am an absolute shit at language despite my admiration for this subject so if anyone who know about Japanese has the dedication to help me come with proper names, I would love you (and be afraid)
