aaaa thank u!! ;w; i just got some tea while thinking about this and thought of something more like the symbolism / meaning behind the colors? like green is considered a sign of spring, renewal after winter and *creation* which is space's thing (maybe jades land theme "frost and frogs" ties into rebirth after winter) and ((this ended up being too long so its continued in the next reply sorry))
((cont)) red generally has negative connotation same as *destruction* and red is linked to fire which makes heat, and theres a thing known as the heat death of the universe meaning the universe ultimately gives into entropy, which google defines as the “gradual decline into disorder” (maybe the “heat death” ties into daves land “heat and clockwork”) idk?? sry i think about colors a lot and watch too many youtube videos about space
that actually makes a lot of sense!! both kanaya and jade had a thing with plants too, which adds on to the whole growth thing with space, and both dave and aradia have a sort of fascination with death, which goes with the destruction theme (and i don’t think we need to try very hard to tie caliborn into that lmao) (now i’m just really sad about damara tho ri p) thank u for this it’s v interesting omg!!!
