kouji is such a soft and gentle boyfriend!

kouji gets along well with your friends, but he's going to be a bit nervous the first time you introduce him to them as your boyfriend
he's a bit insecure about the guys in your friend group. it's not like he doesn't trust you, but his self esteem isn't that high and sometimes he worries you'll leave him for someone else
you always assure him that you'll never be able to find anyone better than him!
he'll get really flustered and his cheeks turn pink when you say that
sometimes he'll still blush when you kiss him or hold his hand
he just can't believe how lucky he was to end up dating someone as amazing as you!

•Ayoama would hate it. You always mess up his hair and wrinkle his clothes. If you sneak into his room at night and bribe him with cheese he might consider allowing you to cuddle with him, though.
•You and Mina probably cuddle the most out of the entirety of 1-A. She thinks you're cute, despite how terrifying you look/are, and likes how soft your fur is!!
•Tsuyu only cuddles with you when it's cold outside and she needs to stay warm. Since there's a lot of you when you're fully stretched out, you're like a giant noodle heating pad.
•Cuddling isn't really Iida's thing, but if he's stressed/sad enough he needs some cuddles. He'll bury his face in your neck and just sit there in that moment of calm until he's prepared to deal with his emotions.
•You and Ochacko cuddle almost as much as you and Mina!! The three of you are often found cuddling in the dorm couches, you in the middle with each girl on either side of you. You're terrifying and you still managed to get more babes than Minieta.
•Ojiro has a love-hate relationship with cuddling you. On one hand, you're soft and warm!! On the other, you bit his tail once and he's scared you'll do it again.
•You don't cuddle with Kaminari anymore, not after he shocked you when you jumped on him at 3 a.m.
•Kirishima really likes cuddling with you!! It's a good way to relax after a long day, and he likes listening to you recount things that happened to you in the past, even if they are a little terrifying.
•Kouda loves and hates you at the same time. He knows you have good intentions, but you're absolutely terrifying and he doesn't want any contact with you. He'll learn to tolerate your cuddles.
•Satou is hERE for those cuddles!! He's just a big beefy boy that likes hugging people, and he's happy you like to cuddle, even if it is during the worst times.
•Shouji just walks around with you draped around his shoulders.
•Jirou likes to cuddle with you and listen to music, even if your taste is a little... out there. She doesn't like it when you stretch out, so you stay normal when you're cuddling with her.
•BRO SERO IS MEGA EXCITED ABOUT YOUR CUDDLES!!! He, like Mina, expresses affection through touch, and every time. EVERY TIME you two cuddle you stretch yourself out, wrap yourself around Sero, and vibe on the ceiling.
•Tokoyami only cuddles in private, and only does it when he's tired.
•Todoroki loves cuddles. He's touch-starved, and you make him feel safe even though you're a walking nightmare. He doesn't want to let you go, and wants to sit there with you holding him forever. He likes to listen to your weird, glitchy heartbeat whenever you cuddle, so his head is usually on your chest.
•Hagakure won't touch you.
•Bakugou secretly likes cuddling. You know when he's in emotional turmoil, and that's usually when you go to him. You hold him when he cries and listen patiently when he yells insults at you and threatens you. You know why he's lashing out. You know who he really is.
•You cuddle with Midoriya while he's in the hospital, mostly. Recovery Girl doesn't care enough to shoo you away at this point.
•Minieta has a restraining order on you because you tried to squeeze him to death like a python.

A/n: Does this count as a drabble anymore? I dunno. But I realized that some of the guys with mutation quirks didn’t have a lot of fics, and that made me sad. And at first I never thought I would write anything for Kouda, but then I saw episode 36 and said “Aww, he needs a fic. He’s a sweetheart and I love his voice.” So enjoy. Fun fact: I finished this before I finished my ‘main’ Valentine’s Day fic and as I’m writing this, that fic is still not done.

It was a warm day. At least warmer than the previous. You could actually stay outside for a few minutes without a coat. But you wore a coat. You were planning to stay out longer than a few minutes.
Clouds moved across the sky. The wind batted at the light bag you were carrying. The grass on the ground gave a whole new sensation from the hard surfaces you were used to. The sprouts in the ground promised flowers as soon as spring came. And the sun stared down onto you, seemingly asking you why you weren't at school.
You were a U.A. student. You were grateful for that. But currently it was lunch and you couldn't stand to be in the cafeteria. At least not today. You had inhaled your lunch and were now making your way to the nearby forest for the rest of lunch period. The forest might have been used for training, though, you weren't sure.
The trees began to hide you as you walked in. Their shadows covered you and you already felt the difference in temperature, making you happy you wore your coat. Muscles you didn't know were tense began to relax as you took in the scenery. The trees clustered and standing tall. Some were still barren from lost leaves, some had green needles that clung onto the branches. In any other forest there might have been a layer of leaves still covering the ground from autumn, but the school must have cleared out all of the leaves.
You simply wandered around. Weaving in and out of the countless trees. Until you thought you saw a person out the corner of your eye. Your head whipped around, and there was indeed a person, sitting in the grass. And he seemed just as surprised to see you.
He had a mutation quirk that made his head look a tad like a rock. He seemed to be wearing a U.A. uniform under his dark blue coat. You thought he looked familiar, but couldn't quite remember him or his name. He froze upon seeing you and his eyes were wide. The animals around him seemed to notice his panic. A rabbit in his lap appeared to be conflicted on whether to stay or leave in case of danger.
Right, there was someone in class 1-A with a quirk that had to do with animals. Though you still couldn't remember his name.
"Oh. Hello," you greeted with a small wave.
He looked between you and the direction of the school and his pointer finger followed his eyes.
"Oh, I just didn't feel like having lunch at school," you began to explain with a slight fake laugh in your voice. "There were too many things reminding me that it was Valentine's Day. It was stressing me out and I decided to spend some time here. Nature always helps me calm down."
He seemed to relax somewhat after hearing this. So did the animals. His head tilted, as if he noticed something about you that he didn’t see before.
"Would you mind if I sat here?" you crouched down to pet a spot on the ground.
He shook his head rapidly and gestured to the area you were referring to, as if offering it to you. He was, by far, one of the most anxious people you’ve met.
"Thank you." You nodded and sat.
Maybe you should have brought something to sit on. The ground felt cold and you could feel the damp earth seeping into your clothes where you sat. You did your best to ignore this and simply adjust yourself to sit on your feet. Now your socks were feeling wet.
Your eyes caught on the animals. The colorful birds and their smooth feathers. The squirrels and how their tail twitched, and being close enough to see how the fur made their tails look larger. And the bunnies with their little noses and how they nibbled on the grass. You wondered how nice it was to be able to talk with them or communicate, or whatever it was his quirk did. You weren’t exactly sure what he could do, you just knew it was animal related.
You could tell he would probably feel uncomfortable with you looking in his direction, so you decided to turn your face toward where you had come from. You couldn’t see it, with the trees blocking the view, but it got you thinking about school again and why you had left.
"I guess I don't like Valentine's Day because it reminds me how alone I feel,” you began. “Even when I'm surrounded by people on the street or in school, it’s still lonely... Maybe that's why I like the forest so much better. Because here I'm supposed to be alone. There's no one around. While being in a crowd makes me feel that way because I know I shouldn't feel alone with so many people around." You let out a quiet sigh. "I don't know. It's complicated."
You weren’t looking at him, but you could tell he was listening. And it made you feel better. As if a weight had been lifted off of you.
You opened your bag and pulled out a piece of paper, a pencil, and a book to set the paper on. Glancing at one of the animals, your pencil began to glide across the paper. You did your best to draw every kind of creature there, copying the shapes and positions. Though it was difficult. Your eyebrows scrunched together and you bit the inside of your lip.
Eventually you held up the paper and turned it to show him. The proportions were off and you couldn’t get the legs on the squirrel to look right.
"I know," you laughed at your own drawing, "It looks awful."
He shook his head and gave you a thumbs up.
"Really? You don't have to say that just to make me feel better." You set it down again, and were about to set your pencil down on top of it too, when a strong breeze came by.
You shivered in your coat, which protected most of your body from the chill. But the wind had come at the perfect moment to swipe the paper away from you and carry it off. Your brain quickly processed what was happening, but your body was slow. By the time you had reached out for it, it was out of your grasp. It only sat on the ground for a second before being picked up by the wind and blown further away.
You let out a small ‘emp’ sound as the paper ran from you. What you had put your work recreating the animals onto. Sitting with your hand reached out, watching it get away, filled you with a strange panic that started to turn into sadness.
“Get it, please!” a soft, gentle voice said. You looked to see it had come from him. His voice sounded desperate, like your panic had passed to him, and quiet at the same time. To the point that if you had to write down what he said, you wouldn’t have been sure whether to use an exclamation mark or not.
As soon as he said this, the animals started running towards the paper like a little, fluffy army coming to your rescue. One of the birds got to it first, dug its claws into the paper, and flew back to you. It released the paper as it flew by you. It took a little longer for the drawing to free from its talons, but you still managed to lean back and catch it.
You held it firmly in your grasp. Remnants of the gust bent the loose corners. The edge of the paper was wrinkled and had a hole in it, but you didn’t mind.
A huge smile formed on your face. “Thank you so much! Oh, and you have a nice voice.”
His face turned a bright pink. He made a quick gesture which probably meant ‘thank you’ in JSL.
You stared at him a second longer. “Kouda. That was your name. Right?”
He nodded, seeming a little more calm, though shy.
You felt relieved that you finally remembered. You sat back and stare at the sky. “Nice to meet you, Kouda.”
Maybe Valentine’s Day wasn’t so bad. Every other year it had only made you feel so lonely. But now… because of it, you were feeling a little less lonely.

He watched in utter amazement as you stepped in front of him, your arms forming an ‘X’ in front of your body to help shield you. The debris hit your arms and scratched your legs causing blood to flow from the wounds. It wasn’t much, the worse you would get is most likely a few stitches here an there.
“(N-Name)!” Kouda cried out as he stumbled forward, gently placing his hands on your arms “Y-You’re arms!” He said as he carefully pulled his hand away, staring at the blood that ran down your arms. You smiled though, gently caressing your lover's cheek before standing on your toes to reach his face. You pressed a chaste kiss to his other cheek before pulling away, watching his face flush as he tried to cover it.
“Don’t worry about me! We have to catch up with the others! We better hurry!” You said as you carefully took one of his hands and guided him further down the path, smiling happily while he followed, smiling shyly to himself while his face continued to flush.
