Listening to the same four songs in a row for hours because what else am I supposed to do with my life

What is Shioriko more afraid of? Her friends knowing her secret, or never getting close enough to them? It's a choice she can't possibly make. Being a dhampir meant being a loner was second-nature to her. She could never be anything else. Well, unless Lanzhu has something to say about it.
Part 1 of my dhampir Shioriko story is up! Hoo boy this one was fun to write sdjgfk
koufukuron.
*bangs head on table*
holy fuck the speed and tempo of the song is so chef’s kiss. it starts out calm and smooth, with piano in the background, and then a little bit of drums creep in, with a little distortation.
then come the CHORUS. it hits you on the head, blaring loud and jarring, but enjoyable nonetheless. oh god, and then the pacing of the lyrics speed up, and it fits in so good with the movie that comes with it.
a detail i really loved in the movie was when the girl was falling backwards, reaching up towards the bird, and then it changes to her flying sideways reaching towards the bird, like wow. a simple orientation change and it changes the whole meaning and it just. it just makes me SOB

koufukuron part 2.
“Losing everything was supposed to make things easy Tragedy smiles upon misery”
already going off strong. i’m weeping in my silly little chair. the second line hits so hard and i’m going crazy. the imagery..... everything. i love this so much
“An abyss into which it only takes one misstep to fall Why does a fearful heart try to live again?”
MAN. so many things i write absolutely aligns with this line. don’t mind if i just yionk this for my own fics because this is so raw and beautiful and HUMAN
“Miserable, yes, but we’ve found something to believe in after all So let’s disprove the theory of surrender If we can find all the answers to despair Is hope the final conclusion or...?”
wow. just wow. the way these words are strung together......... amazing. “let’s disprove the theory of surrender” it’s so GOD damned beautiful i only wish i’d thought of it myself
“The ruthlessness of the world penetrates us With foolishness that we see everywhere Darkness caused by even a flashing moment of doubt Yet why does the heart still try to believe?”
same as the previous segment. yes the world is cruel, harsh, ugly, but FUCK, if hope is a disease with no cure. you can’t help it. hope is human. we experience hope, at least once, in this cursed and lonesome life. because what else can we do, in this cold and cruel world?
“This reality like a never-ending nightmare Is it a message from God or a divine prank? Miserable, yes, but we’ve found something to believe in after all Is this world reflected in our eyes Heaven or Hell? It wasn’t God’s decision Only we can decide for ourselves So let’s disprove the theory of surrender The light we see by discovering that despair is destroyed by choosing joy and believing in hope”
that’s it. i leave you all with the final conclusion of the song. thank you for your time
