omg yes!!! i would be happy to talk about them!!

okay so my first thought was that they're both princess-like (only occasionally, in brute's case), and have great ambitions. i think that if they ever met, kouign amann's unwavering belief in herself and her abilities would strike a cord with brute, since he seems to struggle with his own confidence and identity. his strong facade wouldn't work on kouign, who'd be able to tell he was still trying to figure out how to be who he wants to be and do what he wants to do. they'd probably enjoy sparring, since they both have a similar fighting style (big sword vs big hammer), and then kouign would invite him out to tea. she'd tell him it's okay to be a strong tuff guy most of the time, but still enjoy tea and dresses sometimes. brute would be so touched and not know how to respond to her kindness. also, i think he'd be surprised that she's so small and frilly-dressed but still fight so strong and wield such a large sword. he might even envy her, though he'd never admit it.

on the other hand, i think kougin amann would see herself in brute, and want to help him the way all of her peers and friends have helped her. she'd also find his tough guy front cute, and would be happy when she found he enjoyed tea and dresses just as she did. i think she'd try to teach him how to be strong for a reason (to protect someone, stop something, etc), and not just be strong for the sake of it. she'd get him to show his softer side more often.

it basically just sums up to me thinking they'd compliment each other based on their backstories and everything else :>
