                                 Who would have thought that the practice match to Tokyo would end up like this?

                                 The brunet had become aware that he was getting a slightly runny nose on the bus ride over. Thankfully HE didn’t have to be prepared so much as he had to have Watari near him, the younger libero always being prepared and having given him some Vitamin C tablets and an extra bottle of water as the brunet tried to keep his hands clean with hand sanitizer.

                                 Did it help? Not exactly because he’d had milk bread for dinner and some coffee with sugar, forgetting in his oncoming sickness that bacteria greatly likes to stick around when there’s sugar to feast on. He went to bed with a runny nose, and woke up with a headache, sneeze, raw throat, coughs, slight fever and congested sinuses. Despite getting up early with everyone and trying to make himself scarce with the surgical mask on his face, he STILL got a volleyball thrown at him when he tried to head to morning practice when Hajime wouldn’t allow it.

                                 Rotten timing? Rotten timing.

                                 So much so that it seemed to have made Nekoma’s captain DOUBT how real the sickness is, having heard “ legends ” about Oikawa,Tōru’s perseverance now possibly hyping up an actual lazy captain, although when he walks in he sees a tightly bundled brunet with a flushed face and a cooling-pad covering his forehead, sniffling hard, not even bothering to lift his head to see who came in.

                                 Despite sounding congested, there’s very OBVIOUS hope for wanting to be needed.
