HAHHAAH omg I looove this😭😭 And… she’s about to😏 She was SUPPOSED to… TODAY!! Because it’s not just any day… it’s Patterns birthday!🥹🥹🥹 On this day a year ago, I was pacing around in circles at home contemplating if I really should post this silly little story I’d come up with after becoming obsessed with kpdh. My partner—who was the first to suggest posting what so ever—said girl?? and my best friend said GIRL?? POST IT! But I was scared SHITLESS.
I’ve been writing pretty much my whole life. It truly is my biggest passion. And I have posted works before, but I always ended up deleting them because I was so scared of sharing, well… anything. But then it happened. On this day I was running around in my little anxious circles and finally said it myself: GIRL! What are you waiting for? You want to be a part of this community and you have something that this lovely community might like… what are you scared of? So I pressed “upload”
AND RAN AROUND IN ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIED CIRCLES FOR WAY LONGER THAN I’D LIKE TO ADMIT.
After that—I can’t even describe it. I’m so happy I pressed that button, and endlessly grateful for all the love that followed. I never, EVER, thought it would turn into something people would wait for updates of and appreciate like this.
So on this day, a year later, I want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Thank you thank you thank you to everyone for reading, liking, leaving kudos, writing wonderful comments, reaching out, supporting me and following along!
This year has taught and given me so much. I’m truly so grateful to all of you, and can only hope to repay you with said silly little story🥺
Speaking of! Chapter 30 is just around the corner. I really tried to finish it today, but time said nope and work said NOPE! It should be up at least by sunday, I will be getting back in the kitchen first thing in the morning!🫶🏼
