A/N. Just a cute, short drabble but I still love it and dude, I’m proud of this moodboard

Your neck snapped in the direction of the camera shutter just like the little girl in front of you. A man stood with his head downcast, looking at his camera. You wondered what he had just snapped.

“What was that a picture of, mister?” the young girl in front of you asked.

You could only wonder as well as the stranger finally looked at the two of you and smiled. He walked closer to the two of you and bent down to where you were kneeling so that he could see eye to eye with you and the small girl. He inhaled a deep breath before looking at her.

“Would you be mad if I said it was of you and the pretty lady?” he asked with a deep, mellow voice.

“Am I pretty too?” she asked while tilting her head.

“Of course you are! Otherwise, why wouldn’t I want to take a picture of you?” he asked, acting as if the question stunned him.

He then turned to you and asked, “Your sister?”

You shook your head. “I was reading then her mom asked me to look after her for a minute.”

He nodded before looking back down at the camera.

“Would you like to see the picture I took?” he asked her, which made her nod vehemently.

You peeked over to see it as he spun it in her direction to see a picture of her laughing and you with one of the worst faces. Your tongue and sticking out, eyes were crossed, and your teeth were out as you curved your upper lip inwards. You didn’t know any other way to make her smile again. She was upset that her mother had gone for a second and being seen with a crying child wasn’t the best image to have for yourself. This face always made your little sister laugh so you thought it might work with her and it did.

You weren’t expecting your photo to be taken in that moment however, and you ended up making a multitude of faces for her enjoyment.

“She makes the best faces.” she commented while smiling to which you only looked away.

“Oh look, there’s your mom.” you notified the pair as the girls mother approached.

“Thanks for looking after her.” she thanked you profusely before waving good-bye along with her daughter.

The guy looked at you once more before looking around the park.

“Sorry for not asking before I took your picture. It was just such a perfect moment.” he chuckled.

“It’s fine.” you reassured before another awkward silence sunk in.

“I’m Taehyung, by the way. Haven’t seen you around this park before.”

“I don’t usually come out during the summer. I’m more of an autumn girl. That’s when I usually come to read.” you explained with a small smile. “I’m Y/N.”

“You should come out more often, Y/N. The park’s a beautiful place. And you only add to it’s appeal.”

Your cheeks heated up even more than the weather already allowed.

“Maybe I will come out more often. You’re definitely right about the sights.”
