Some electronic musicians returned during the noughts and they became even more cherished than ever before. New Order, for instance, saw some of their followers getting a lot of success and the latter somehow ended up benefitting them greatly. I agree, the situation can be read in a more complex manner, particularly thanks to Waiting For The Sirens' Call. This album does break your heart, because they fell apart soon afterwards and you keep thinking what more could they have done with the energy they had back then. I mean, the tune on the link should be seen as one of their better ones. Moreover, they shouldn't have returned without Peter Hook despite their consequent disc being fine, they should stop at that point, they earned the right to do so.
