Faina has been dealing with chronic headaches ever since leaving Red Room. Part of it is physical - she’s not sleeping or eating properly and is dehydrated most of the time. Part of it is mental – she struggles with C-PTSD, and under her current circumstances is hypervigilant at all times and her anxiety levels are high to say the least. Lastly, Faina suspects she is probably going through some sort of withdrawal, something that may have been given to her through food at Red Room, though she is not certain, and this may just be another manifestation of her paranoia.

she'd probably be loopy from painkillers and barely even coherent but he'd still just stare. judging.
