thinking about obey me replaced au where the only brother still on ur side is mammon

u get sent back to human world and y'all don't see each other for a while but still keep in touch

flash forward maybe a few months to a year and the brother are visiting the human world with their NEW human but mammon is on his phone (more than levi) and the rest of the brothers are like "wtf are u doing. what are u scheming"

and mammon is all "don't worry about it i'm going to hang out with someone"

so lucifer is like "ok well u can meet them here if ur telling the truth" (does he act like that i haven't played the game in YEARS 😭😭)

and BOOM reader shows up and the two of u (reader and mammon) are being all sweet with each other la dee da and the other brothers (and the new human if i feel like making them a massive asshole) are like WTF?????

so everybody is like "why are u with reader?? wtf is goin on in here on this day??" type shit and mammon is like

reader and mammon leave and do wtv they do and everyone else doesn't matter

eddie/volt/reader fic idea i need to spit out even tho i'm not a writer

volt/eddie x homeowner/reader post realization fic where y'all haven't talked in like over a year right

by this point reader has accepted that the dateables all moved on with their lives so they do the same

year 2 no contact passes and reader is doing better for themselves in wtv way that is. they still live in the og house but they have a friend who's moving into a new house and they want reader to come with them to idk get the keys from the sellers (the sellers are eddie/volt 😛)

so reader and friend pull up and reader obv recognizes eddie/volt IMMEDIATELY and while they're doing better after being ghosted by about 100 ppl, they KNOW this is about to get awkward so they stall in the car for sec

volt greets the friend and gives them their new house keys, eddie lets them know that everything should be in working order (idk what real estate ppl do shhh), and they're both ready to get some gone UNTIL our dear friend call out to reader to come look inside their new home

cue eddie/volt/reader making eye contact and just

so eddie/volt are thinking 'oh fuck it's the homeowner who we forgot about while living human life, they probably fucking hate us'

and reader is thinking 'oh fuck it's breaker box i romanced, realized, and got ghosted by this is so awkward'

and y'all go through that awful "oh hey i haven't seen you in forever" dialogue before you try to excuse yourself but they stop u to ask if ur mad at them for disappearing

u tell them that while u aren't mad (anymore), it definitely still hurts that it happened and that it's fine if ur is just friends with the 2

BUUUT they don't wanna be just friends and they tell reader as such and, if reader is ok with it, they'd like to try to re-romance reader

readers agrees to let them try but makes no promises of getting back together with them

more on my eddie/volt/reader little fic idea (idk what to call it bc it's not an au is it???)

at first i wasn't gonna have the friend be sam but it's easier that way so 🥱

so obv sam knows about the dateables but she's never SEEN any of them

so when reader goes inside after their convo with eddie and volt, sam obv like "what tf was that?? do u know them??"

reader explains that eddie/volt are 2 of the dateables they told her about and sam goes absolutely buck wild. i'm talking runs up to the window to see if they're still there, pointing at them with wide eyes, the who thing (basically just being as obvious as possible)

so reader is all "girl chill out it's already awkward" and tells sam about the convo they JUST had about giving them a 2nd chance and whatnot while trying to gauge her reaction

reader and sam have the whole "do you think ur ready for a relationship" "is this what you want" convo just making sure reader isn't doing smth that's gonna hurt them in the long run

i like to think sam and reader have a sibling like bond so eddie and volt WILL have to deal with sam again later for better or for worse

maybe eddie and/or volt does smth that's gonna hurt REALLY upsets reader later in the story and all of sudden they're getting texts from the lady they sold a house to talking bout some "ho... the things that you've lied about... even pertaining to your past"

also in the story i'd have them Z zzzz go on 12 dates over the period before they get back together

3 for eddie/reader

3 for volt/reader

3 for eddie/volt/reader

i would do this bc for one: 12 is my favorite number 😛 and for two: i think 3 dates individually and 3 together is a good amount to rekindle smth (i say as i have no experience dating)

idk what the dates would be (yet) but i'll prolly think of smth later
