I 100% am down for the Wolf Children McHanzo art you draw. Sign me the frick up. My only regret is that McCree would die and that like lowkey kills me on the inside. But fam your art makes me so happy, when i was going through your tag i seen posts ive reblogged in the past and i was like "!!!!!! :O These arts are bomb as frick god bless this artist" So like, godbless you, and your incredibly cute werewolf mccree.

Thank you so much!! The Wolf Children au has a special place in my heart, because it was what first encouraged me to post my mchanzo art, so I’m always glad when people tell me they like it! ;w;

And yeah, this part kills me too >>o I always try to focus on the happy side, but sometimes I just like to imagine nobody dies and they all move to the countryside and add more children to the family, haha

But it’s gonna be ok, Hanzo is a good dad and he has good kids! ❤️

I was excited to learn the popcorn recipe. I was literally excited irl. Then you turn around and its coconut oil?? I was ready for it to be like be a bunch of spices and the tears of angels

So was Hanzo! He thought, ok, it has to be some long-forgotten spice from deep in the New Mexico wilderness (he’s imagining a New Mexican jungle, he’s confused, New Mexico has jungles surely this is from a rain forest) that has been left to cure in the sun for 3 months and blessed by a cowboy medicine man. He might have later searched Athena’s files for any ancient lore related to coconut oil.

Why do you hate G/ency?

The whole “Genji lay dying after his fight with Hanzo and, OW says to him “in exchange of helping them in taking down his clan, they’ll upgrade him”. It just rubs me an a lot of other people wrong way. The wording of Genji’s bio is not good. It gives the impression that OW told him to “help us or die”. And as he result he was turned into the Ultimate Weapon™ and spirals into self hatred. And it was Mercy/OW who did this to him. (And his newest Blackwatch skin shows he still had some human bits on him, and it’s now into question did he really need to become a full cyborg to survive.)

I think what annoys me most about this ship is the fact, that the writers aren’t really giving either of them… interesting? Both characters are rather one dimensional, especially Mercy. And there’s no conflict? No lines of her saying she’s sorry that he was suffering from what happened. Or him saying he’s sorry for maybe being rude to her in the past. Nothing. Just these two are happy and have no problems. It’s very forced.

It’s clear that the writers didn’t intend to have it come off this way. Which is why they keep giving Genji all these lines of him praising OW for everything and acting like it’s a flawless organization. But it just doesn’t work because now it’s just making things more confusing. 

And this is me explaining why I don’t like the ship in general… Not even mentioning how bad some of the shippers are. Clogging up the mch*nzo tag, or any gay ship tag with their constant whining about being called homophobic over a het ship, ignoring all criticism. Them acting like Genji is in debt to Mercy, and putting her on this pedestal.

This got way longer than it should have but there’s just a lot of problems with the ship and why I just find it so skevvy….

HANZO WALKED IN ON IT AND THEN LEFT THEN MCCREE CAME HOME (HE WALKED IN ON THEM AT GENJIS PLACE) AND HANZO LEFT A LETTER AND A GIFT FOR MCCREE ON THIER TABLE. Hanzo being a push over coward is the best way to ruin a fanfic. You take this man who has spent his entire life suffering in pain but has persevered and kept being strong only to have him become a emotional mess when McCree happens? I seen a fanfic where Hanzo seen McCree naked so he ran away from watchpoint and had a panic attack and was screaming and Genji had to come and calm him down. Thats so OOC. Im not saying he cant have panic attacks and anxiety. But just keep it within character

oh my god, exactly?? i hate when this happens and i’ve read shit like this like, 3 times now?? where it’s actually that bad that i can’t even explain it it’s just, so ooc and not like hanzo at all. i keep saying, it’s perfectly believable for hanzo to have anxiety (like. i have anxiety and i do see a lot of that in hanzo) but that doesn’t mean he turns into.. whatever that is

YES GIRL AND IT WAS GOD AWFUL. I couldnt look at McHanzo without imagining the scene where Hanzo walked in on it and it made me want to die. Literally. Im upsetting myself remebering it because im a drama queen.
