That’s exactly what I said! She wanted to save him because Luke wasn’t going to help her like??????
Right??? Like, i can understand reaching out to him for someone who understands, especially when Luke is being all “nope not gonna help you” and i can understand her coming to see him as more than the monster she thought he was and wanting to help him, but literally none of that read as romantic to me in any way-- it was intimate in the way it would have been had they been siblings, nothing more? I mean I understand people viewing things differently I just... nope, still don’t see it?
PLUS there’s the ending-- no way in hell is she in any mood to try to help him now? Am I the only one that thought this movie firmly shut the door on a Kylo Ren redemption arc???
