KRESNA IS WONDERFUL

HE BY SOME MIRACLE MANAGED TO ACQUIRE THE MY MELO SQUIDS, ALL THREE OF THEM (he also got me another Hobonichi Planner and those coaster things that came with the Squids~ Also the hat his Cinnamoroll is wearing)

MERRY CHRISTMASSSSSSS

so my Christmas was an experience let me tell you

so basically like, Kresna decided to come visit for Christmas instead of me visiting him (it didn’t help that I still haven’t gotten a passport whoops), so bam, got it set at work, Friday night into Christmas Day, great

then Wednesday comes around and I have an awful headache and then the night comes and I am dead and throwing up and shivering and having a bunch of delusions that I’m still having at 4AM every night (first night was that SSBUltimate Mysterious Dimension map I had just beaten right before bed and being lost and it spinning in my head over and over until I threw up several times), then I was bedridden and immobile for Thursday and Friday (aka days I promised to work since the store owner’s out of town and she gave me Saturday and Sunday off) and so I had to call off and felt terrible

of course my house has no medicine and no one feels bothered to get medicine so I was legit feeling like I was going to die from this flu several times, slept absolutely not at all and overall was dead (did not get the flu shot this year like a scrub whoops) also funfact I haven’t had the flu since I was a kid and so this is the first time I’ve been really sick in quite some time and it was hell

then Friday comes and still bedridden, can’t even clean up for Kresna’s arrival, and then barely make it outside to greet him and then he took care of me and gave me medicines constantly and was overall the greatest (he even made sure to take precautions to make sure he wouldn’t get sick before arriving and then had to take precautions to make sure he didn’t get sick while here, so far so good amazingly for him)

by some miracle today I’m almost better (I can at least move normally again, Saturday I was completely bedridden still), and throughout his stay we played AND beat EDF on PS2 (aka “Global Defence Force” thanks European version, mostly on Normal or higher, the Gaist 2 is my best friend and you can’t convince me otherwise unless there’s a Gaist 3 or greater), and also Katamari on Switch (it’s fun but feels more unforgiving for co-op and will make a post about it later like I was asked to) he also lit up my world and by that I mean decorated my bedroom with christmas lights and aaaaaaa so many other wonderful things

let us take a moment to remember all those frames we lost that day, that day(s) we played EDF... may those frames drop in peace

I ALSO TRIED PANCAKES FOR THE FIRST TIME AND THEY WERE OKAY/10 but I was too nauseous to finish them (also I cooked something for the first time with his help and deep fried banana fritters for him, even though bananas are awful, awful foods)

so yeah Christmas and Kresna got me this and aaaaaa and he just left about an hour ago and aaaaaaaaaaa he’s the bestttttttttttt

edit: also the plushes are very soft and good

also he got me a PS2 harddrive and other things and aaaaaaa

and some bonus video game photos

played a bit of AHiT (with GameCube controllers~ felt a bit of delay but otherwise was neat) and broke the Roomba, as well as some of the new Mario Party (he is a ruthless and heartless monster as Rosalina, destroying my local friends to assert dominance and refusing to buy stars so he could steal them instead)

also some Katamari Damacy (”two hands, one controller”) on his PS2 since my PS2 refuses to play it whatsoever, good times, good music, definitely feel the jankiness that We Love Katamari fixed

a certain @pinkuboa may have gifted me a gem of a game, the sequel prequel to Wild Animal Racing, which Kresna was surprisingly gifted at. We also played a lot of Fortune Street (I bought it with him at a local game shop, then we played via Dolphin because to heck with trying to get everything set up). He may have betrayed me many times (he plays as Alena) but the third time I won as the Waluigi (even though Angelo stole my purple name and pink district)

he also introduced me to a similar nice little game called Top Shop which I’ve never heard of before (and also Chocobo Racing and Bomberman Fantasy Race~). We also went out into town twice to play the only DDR machine we could find (he plays with the bar like a scrub... which I then also used after getting destroyed by never playing DDR on Light/Standard), along with a few other arcade-y things

also TWEWY is out on Switch and it is fun and a bit odd with motion controls (I played the partners and we got to Joshua and I’m hopeful for Jesus Beams still), now I’m excited to try playing it two-handed. It was surprisingly easy in co-op mode, even when we refused to be anything higher than level 1 and used Hard the moment we unlocked it, only real problem were the bat boss (because trying to figure out how to fight it, thanks no-top-screen), and the Week 1 boss (I learned I never took damage but Neku gets stunlocked to hell thanks to lightning). Also man, Shiki’s spin attack puts everything to shame, it’s like super easy mode.

what I’m saying is is that gaming with Kresna is the best

and so kresna returned to his home planet

but here’s some nice scenic photos of our bushwalk through difficult paths yesterday (feat. purple glow on left side because thanks phone case)

we woke up, walked 2.5 miles uphill to a park, got ambushed by some Christian boys asking us about Jesus, and then went hiking bushwalking through difficult terrain, then discovered a neat library stand thing, and then afterwards walked more, got chocolate, went home, got pizza (and burned the roof of my mouth), and finished the day of walking with some nice relaxing DDR competitions (our second day in a row~)
