Watch out for spoilers!

"War sailor" which you can watch on Netflix is truly something else. Amazing and heart-wrenching. I still can't really grasp the meaning behind the ending tho. Why did Sigbjørn leave after he had found Alfred? Was it because he felt guilty for believing he could build his life by replacing Alfred. Or they couldn't imagine living with each other after all they experienced during the war. Their relationship was so unique and they cared for each other deeply. There's something tragic about starting their lives separately after the war and finding no understanding in people that they love, simply because they didn't experience the same thing.

Alfred then becoming distant and cold. I just think that the main tragedy of this movie is that main aspect of Alfred loneliness could be fixed if Sigbjørn hadn't left and they could heal together. All 3 of them. Alfred didn't mind Cecilia and Sigbjørn relationship while he had been presumed dead. Their future could be better if all of them had a serious conversation and it's so frustrating
