Hi hi! I saw that you like coding from ur pinned post! And honestly same!
Can you tell me more ? I m soo so curious about that and ur interests and all?
Also me shy so anon +_+
My track is a lil stupid.
I took Computer Science as a subject in Grade 11, sheerly because I didnt wanna take Biology or Engineering Graphics or Biotech.
And also because it wud make me a lot of money as a career.
Those were the only Science streams offered at school (I was in CBSE curriculum).
11th was hard. I didnt get a grasp of what on earth it was.
Then a certain someone (who this Tumblr is dedicated to) decided to show his mercy upon his silly woman and stumbled me upon a video saying how CS connected to Number Puzzles.
It then struck me hard.
Something I loved doing as a child, was crosswords, puzzles, debates, quizzes, they all made sense now.
Suddenly everything made sense. I gently fell in love with it, before I fell in love with Him.
But it was too late, the 11th exams got over.
I got marks to just pass.
12th, was excellent. My report card showed CS as my highest.
Same in university. I found like minded people, I was still a little confused. Too many fields within Compsci to choose from.
What wud i take? I knew frontend wasnt my thing, nor was backend or devops.
I was always interested in how people talked, the way languages were developed.
Action, and reaction. Terms I got to know after I became an adult, but something I was curious as a child.
I remember doing my mini language experiments on my then infant cousins (they are in 12th now - we are 8 years apart), to see how they do, or react, or how fast they cud repeat what i said.
I used to do these "experiments" to even stray cats, and my Mom wud tow me right from there, yelling at me.
Being a researcher is a profession, but I think it is more of a mentality.
I thought I was being this huge ass detective, doing these experiments at 8 or 9 years old.
I needed a branch of CS that showed me number patterns, and something language, and also some sufficient math to go on.
Guess what I am doing now?
I am an AI engineer + a lil bit of researcher.
To be precise, i like NLP, Machine learning and reinforcement learning, something where action and reaction is involved.
My fav tool? Neo4j.
My fav language? C++ (its the first i learnt). And yeah obviously Python.
Fav python package? Stellargraph (sad they removed it).
My fav data structure? Graphs.
My fav IDE? Windsurf 😶🌫️
My fav AI? Minimax M2.5.
What else do u wanna know?
