And today I finally turned and saw you once again, I do not blame you for you were always there. If anyone, it is my sinful eyes to be blamed that looked right through you as if you were only a bundle of fresh air. As if you were only ever a figment of my imagination —beautiful, but not permanent, and definitely not permanent. What a terrible crime they've committed.
But today I looked to my right once, and there you were —waiting , and smiling as ever.
"Aah, so finally you actually see me today, Sakhi" you said almost teasing, and then your expressions turn into mock hurt, "you took too long, sakhi, too long. Look I'm getting older here waiting for you" you said, pouting.
"Aren't you already a billions year old, Kanha" I laugh.
"Technically, even older but who's counting" you tease smirking as you spin the flute in your fingers. "But it's not a good feeling being ignored like this, Sakhi. Dont ever do that ok"
And as I see your face, tears running down my eyes. Never again, I think. Never again. Please dont ever push me again, Kanha. Please dont ever let me forget the only one worth remembering—You.
