So me and my friends decided to watch GBF and let me tell you that movie was actually really, really good.
Now, I know the movie is obviously exaggerated but from my understanding it seemed rather true to life on the issues it touched upon. And it was an interesting insight into the objectification of gay males; I know some parts of one perspective (being lesbian myself) @ but it was definitely an eye opener to the other side of things.
Overall it was actually pretty cool, they handled it very nicely, and the spin on the end was good too. Loved how they directly commented on the objectification of people, and how crappy it is and how it needs to stop. It was a bit easy to predict, from a plot perspective, but that doesn't detract from the message at all.
My only question was why the cars had NJ license plates but apparently there were palm trees?????? That was legit the only thing that made zero sense.
Okay so first episode of the Attack on Titan dub was actually better than expected. The voice acting, considering, was actually really well done and the voices they picked so far were all pretty good. (I generally get really picky with FUNimation dubs.) I was a little ehh with Armin's voice but it grew on me. And the dialogue they chose for some of the key scenes was actually a bit better than the sub, it packed a bit more punch. Also I almost cried like three times, and I've watched the first episode about the same number. >__> Overall I was pretty impressed with the first episode's dub and I'm looking forward to hearing the other voices.
That feel when your friend causes a personal crisis because of one sentence that happened to be extremely true. like I don't even LOL I'm upset but I'm soooooooo confused. Dx aghhhhh

And tbh I spent like an hour or two with my homie Kris blabbing about writing and books and stuff. We gotta do that more man it was hella fun.
Alright things are getting interesting. Not that they weren't interesting before. But now they've gotten hella. Can Ryuko be my gf or something really. She's so badass.
Great. Now the freaking tennis coach has a sniper scope attached to her damn eye and is totally not using a regulation racket. Seriously I'm not a tennis player but. Really. And how did that ball just do a freaking U turn on the edge of the racket?? This isn't basketball I don't. And Mako's little intermissions like "YO DONT YOU MESS WITH MY GIRL RYUKO. I GOT THE WHOLE STORY JUST HOL UP".
What is even happening. I understood this, kinda. I mean it was over the top but. THEN THE SAILOR SUIT STARTED TALKING??? Whaaaaaaaaaat.
