I know this is a hot take but, Peryite is like, one of the best princes to speak to.

The others fighting for your soul in Skyrim? Nah, take the shield and scram. Oh you don't wanna even though you summoned him? Meh fair enough, he'll be there if you change your mind. Or find someone else. Whatever.

This man has a job. He loves his pet rats. It's said Kyne gives him the souls of Skeevers when they die.

Peryite is the embodiment of a "natural" or "necessary" evil. Much like sickness.

You can hate it. You can hate him. But he's there. It's there. Always will be. He has no want to take over. Despite being the ""believed weakest"" prince, he could probably wipe out tamriel the easiest.

But he doesn't want to. Because that's not what he is.

He is the natural order. As things will be, whether you want them to or not.

Ya'll ever notice anything and you're left like "this is probably a coincidence. BUT-"

For me it has to do with Peryite, and how much his name sounds like "Pyrite" aka fools gold. Which is interesting since Akatosh, who is also a dragon, is often describes as a Golden dragon. That along with the fact some forsworn worship Peryite also as a god of time, it was just something I noticed.

People really are sleeping on how interesting Tartarus is-

Tartarus killed his Uncle over the battle of Harvest due to his religious fanaticism that led to the mistreatment of the brutes on his ship and their failure to win the battle over Harvest. Their people were dying for artifacts that didn't even exist, something that Tartarus questioned, and he felt he had no choice. He lost people because of this fight.

He takes over, and things get better. The brutes slowly get noticed, the Prophets begin to give them more favor, more ships, more power.

The ring happens, and while everything is chaos the Jiralhanae are finally on par with the Sangheili; and even above them (When they take over the honor guard.) They're finally treated better.

And then the Arbiter shows up, with 343 Guilty Spark. Who tells them that their fight doesn't matter, that in the end They Will All Die if they continue this. He, a Heretic, is standing there with other Heretics.

You see him pause. He thinks about it, this shock being told, by someone he has hated for so long because of all the things they had that his people didn't.

He refuses. He can't believe it, it can't be a lie. Everything they've been through with the Covenant, suffered for, it can't all have been a lie.

And he dies.

He dies, because his Religious Fanaticism, and his fear, don't allow him to live.

I just can't help but wonder what would have happened if he made a different choice; if he chose to listen to Thel, went another way-

Would the Jiralhanae listen? Would they turn away from him, in favor of the Prophets? Would more lives have been saved, maybe things never would have gone as far as they did, what could have been different?

Who knows.

Recently been replaying the SkyLanders games after ages of not. Happened to find Rattle Shake while playing Spyros at a vintage shop- did not expect him to become one of my favorites easily lol-

I know he’s just a rattle snake but his face reminds me of a hog nose, so.

IT’S FINISHED!

I definitely could have done some scenes better, but. I’m tired, lol. This has been in the work for ages, scenes constantly being redrawn cause I ditch it for months and then come back and see I’m Better.

Chief and Arbiter wasn’t a ship I thought of until I heard this song, and now it’s one of my favs. (with a mix of ThelxRtas- he has two hands-)

Maybe I’ll come back and refine some things; probably not though heh.
