where was that internal medicine professor from?
i’m sorry anon but i feel like saying more than “romania” would be tmi (idk if this was about the city or the hospital), but here are some highlights from our practice:
- when one of our classmates said her leg was hurting a bit, kristale took 3 other students and made them hold their hands over her leg and chant “the leg is healed” until my classmate said it miraculously didn’t hurt anymore
- this was because she heard a story where doctors chanted “the tumour is healed” with their hands over a cancer patient and you could see the tumour shrinking on the ultrasound (followed by a rant about how we don’t do this in romania)
- “i bet you’re wondering why there are marks on my forehead. it’s because i had a migraine last night so i slept with a malachite necklace on my head and i feel great now”
- “my father had acute kidney failure and no treatment worked until i made him wear jade around his waist”
- “medicine has no accomplishments except for antibiotics” (at least she believes in antibiotics i guess)
-*to a patient who went undiagnosed for a week* “we’ll talk when i finish with the students so i can tell you what kind of crystals you need“
- “doctors complicate things so much when someone has a heart attack. my reiki instructor told me what you REALLY have to do. you just put your hands over the person’s heart and redirect the energy towards it”
- “oh my, you are so close-minded, children. i just don’t see the joy of discovery in your eyes when i tell you all of this. some of you are even smiling ironically, i don’t know what kind of doctors you’ll end up being”
there are more, but i don’t remember all of them rn
