I read Anterograde Tomorrow 2 months ago and that fanfic totally screwed me over too. It was really sad and I couldn't stop thinking about the ending for a whole week.. it was just so unexpected ):

Aw omg me too. I've been thinking about it all day :/ I don't know what my life has come to like a fanfic left such a big impact on me omg. It was really good though! I'm just still really devastated it had to end that way...

That was me ever since I found out about it haha. I think I finally worked up the nerve to read it after seeing a bunch of references to it yesterday and got curious. It is really painful but it's a classic.
