I vote for Kronis as Malkyn's father. But now I wonder how Malkyn would have looked like in cgi MOTU. If his father was still Keldor then no blue gar traits except in power up havoc form as Skeleteen? Human Malkyn? I do like your idea of him having Evil-Lyn's white hair. With Kronis as his father his design would have to change a little since Gar Keldor and Kronis are different in appearance.

It's hard to see in the CGI show, but Kronis' skin actually is blue.

With the green of his face and forearms appearing to be some kind of farmer's tan.

If I were to design Malkyn for CGI he probably wouldn't look all that different from if he were Keldor's son. Maybe with different eyes. I gave Son-of-Keldor Malkyn Evil-Lyn's violet eyes. But I'm really liking Kronis' amber eyes in Core/CGI and I think Son-of-Kronis Malkyn would look pretty cool with those same eyes. Also, the red-orange amber color would fit the theme of being Hordak's grandson better too.
